Ingredients
  Tender flaky pastry 1 (For 8 Inch Two Crust Pie)
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Flour 3 Tablespoon
  Cinnamon/Nutmeg 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Sliced pared apples 5 Cup (80 tbs)
  Butter 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Heat oven to 425° (hot).
Mix sugar, flour, spice; mix lightly through apples.
Heap into pastry-lined pie pan.
Dot with butter.
Cover with top crust which has slits cut in it; seal and flute.
Bake 50 to 60 min., until crust is browned and apples are cooked.
