Flaky Pie Crust

  Egg 1 , beaten
  Cold water 5 Tablespoon
  Vinegar 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Shortening 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  All purpose flour 3 Cup (48 tbs)

Combine egg, water, vinegar and salt in medium bowl; set aside.
Cut shortening into flour in large bowl until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Add egg mixture; toss with fork until mixture holds together.
Press together to form ball.
Roll out on lightly floured surface to circle 1 inch larger than inverted 9-inch pie plate.
Press in pie plate.
Trim and flute edge.
