Cranberry Nut Pie
|Cranberries||1 Pound, coarsely chopped|
|Sugar||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Coarsely chopped walnuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Raisins||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Orange peel||1 Teaspoon|
|Butter/Margarine||3 Tablespoon, melted|
|Cornstarch||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Orange juice||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|9 inch graham cracker crust||1 , baked|
|Sweetened whipped cream/Whipped topping||1 Tablespoon|
In 2 1/2 quart bowl, mix cranberries, sugar and salt.
Stir in nuts, raisins, peel and butter.
Mix cornstarch with water and juice; stir into cranberry mixture.
Cook at HIGH 12 to 14 minutes, or until mixture thickens.
Pour into crust; chill.
