Raisin Pie

The Raisin Pie is an innovative and yummy fruit pie that is irresistible. This delicious pie is a favorite for my mother in law and she was pleasantly surprised when I served it for her when she came visiting. Try this wonderful Raisin Pie recipe
  Brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Raisins 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Flour 2 Tablespoon
  Hot water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Lemon juice 1

1. Combine ingredients in order given, mixing well after each addition.
2. Cook till mixture thickens, stirring to prevent scorching.
3. Cool and pour into pie plate lined with uncooked pastry.
4. Cover with top crust and bake in 8 inch pie pan.
