Rhubarb Cream Pie

Ingredients
  Cornstarch 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Boiling water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Orange rind 1
  Chopped rhubarb 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Butter 1 Tablespoon
  Egg yolks 3 , beaten
  Egg whites 3
  Sugar 3 Tablespoon
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
  Orange juice 1 Teaspoon
  Salt To Taste
Directions

Cook in double boiler until clear.
Turn into pie plate lined with plain pastry (uncooked).
Bake 30 minutes at 375° F.
Spread on pie, bake at 350° F. 15 to 20 minutes.
