Swiss Tuna Melts
Swiss tuna melts is a cheese and tuna recipe prepared with bread base. Herbed with dill, the swiss tuna melts has green onions and celery in it. Served as appetizer or as a light snack, it is savory and appetizing!
|Canned tuna||12 1⁄2 Ounce, drained and flaked (1 Can)|
|Shredded swiss cheese||6 Ounce (1.5 Cups)|
|Miracle whip||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Chopped green onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped celery||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Dill weed||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Tomato||1 , thinly sliced|
|Swiss cheese slices||6 Ounce (1 Package, Natural Brand)|
Mix tuna, shredded cheese, Miracle Whip, celery, onion and seasonings.
Spread mixture on bread.
Top with tomato and cheese slices.
Place on cookie sheet and broil 1 to 2 minutes or until cheese begins to melt.
