|9 inch baked pastry shell||1|
|Fresh strawberries||1 1⁄2 Quart|
|Corn starch||3 Tablespoon|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Clean and hull berries.
Measure 2/3 cup of berries and mash in 1 quart measure.
Add water and 3/4 to 1 cup sugar, depending on sweetness of berries.
MICROWAVE 5 to 6 MINUTES on HIGH, or until mixture is boiling.
Soften corn starch in small amount of water and add to mixture.
MICROWAVE 2 to 3 MINUTES on HIGH, or until mixture thickens, stirring once.
Stir in butter.
Fill baked pie shell with remaining strawberries.
Pour cooled glaze over top.
Garnish with whipped cream.
