Little Mutton Or Lamb Pies

Ingredients
  Mutton/Lamb pieces 1 Pound
  Potatoes 1⁄2 Pound
  Chopped parsley 1 Tablespoon
  Onion 1
  Plain flour 1 Pound
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Beef dripping 6 Ounce
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Partly boil the potatoes.
Chop up the onion and the meat.
Line 8 patty pans 10 if small ones and fill with equal quantities of chopped meat and potato.
Sprinkle with onion, salt, pepper and chopped parsley.
Cover each with a pastry lid, and cook for 3/4-1 hour in a moderate oven.
If the tops become brown rather early, spread a piece of foil lightly over the pans.
The meat needs quite a little time to cook satisfactorily.
