Frozen Walnut Pie
|Butter||150 Milliliter (2/3 Cup)|
|Brown sugar||175 Milliliter (3/4 Cup)|
|Corn syrup||250 Milliliter (1 Cup)|
|Eggs||6 , well beaten|
|Milk/Cream||125 Milliliter (0.5 Cup)|
|Vanilla/Rum||2 Teaspoon (10 Milliliter)|
|Walnut pieces||500 Milliliter (2 Cups)|
|Unbaked 9 inch pie shell||1|
Cream together butter and sugar.
Stir in syrup, beaten eggs, milk and vanilla or rum and beat well.
Stir in walnuts and pour into pie shells.
Bake at 400F (200C) for 10 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350F (180C) and bake 25 to 30 minutes longer or until knife inserted in the centre comes out clean.
Cool, then wrap and freeze for up to 3 months.
