Banana Split Pie
|Vegetable shortening||1 Tablespoon|
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
|Strawberry ice cream||1 Pint, softened|
|Frozen whipped dessert topping||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Thawed)|
|Chopped walnuts||2 Tablespoon|
|Chocolate sauce/Quick fudge sauce||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Bake and cool pastry.
Thinly slice bananas; sprinkle with lemon juice and arrange on bottom of pastry shell.
Spread ice cream over bananas.
Freeze until firm.
Spread dessert topping over ice cream.
Top with cherries; sprinkle with nuts.
Freeze again until firm.
