|Milk||3 Cup (48 tbs), scalded|
1.Start by preheating the oven to 450F degrees
2.Combine eggs, salt and sugar; add milk and vanilla slowly.
3.Line pie in pan with pastry, pour in filling and sprinkle with nutmeg.
4.Bake in very hot oven for 10 minutes.
5.Reduce temperature to slow (325° F) and bake 30 to 40 minutes longer, or until a knife inserted comes out clean.
