Fresh Fig Pie
|Sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Grated orange peel||1 Tablespoon|
|Lemon juice||3 Tablespoon|
|Unbaked 9 inch pie shell||1|
Peel and slice figs (enough for 3 cups).
Stir sugar, orange peel, and lemon juice into figs.
Turn fruit into unbaked pie shell.
Dot with butter.
Bake at 450Â°F 10 minutes; reduce oven temperature to 350CF and bake about 25 minutes.
