Fresh Fig Pie

Ingredients
  Figs 3⁄4 Pound
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Grated orange peel 1 Tablespoon
  Lemon juice 3 Tablespoon
  Unbaked 9 inch pie shell 1
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
Directions

Peel and slice figs (enough for 3 cups).
Stir sugar, orange peel, and lemon juice into figs.
Turn fruit into unbaked pie shell.
Dot with butter.
Bake at 450°F 10 minutes; reduce oven temperature to 350CF and bake about 25 minutes.
