Homemade Pie Crust
This homemade pie crust recipe is a easy and simple way to prepare crusts for pies at home. Better and more fresh than store bought crusts, this pie crust is simply made with flour and shortening and baked before using.
|All purpose flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Shortening||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Cold water||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
Mix the flour, shortening, and salt until crumbly.
Add the cold water and mix lightly.
Place the dough between two sheets of waxed paper and roll to the desired size.
