Individual Deep Dish Apple Pies
|Packed brown sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Ground nutmeg||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Grated orange peel||2 Tablespoon|
|Grated lemon peel||1 Tablespoon|
|Apples||7 Cup (112 tbs), sliced and pared|
Combine the brown sugar, nutmeg, and orange and lemon peels and toss gently with apple slices.
Fill 6 deep ramekins with apple slices.
Dot each with 1 1/2 teaspoons butter.
Top with pastry rounds.
Bake at 425Â°F about 30 minutes, or until apples are tender.
