Chicken And Pineapple Pie
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Light cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Canned pineapple cubes||8 Ounce (One Can)|
|Cooked peas/1 frozen package||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Diced cooked chicken||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baked 9 inch pie shell/Baked 8 inch pie shell||1|
Stir in flour; cook 1 minute.
Add milk; whisk until smooth.
Add cream and seasoning.
Chop bacon; fry until crisp.
Add to sauce.
Drain pineapple (reserve some cubes for decoration); add to sauce.
Add peas and chicken; mix well.
Season to taste.
Pour into pastry shell.
Decorate with remaining pineapple.
Put into preheated 375 Â°F oven just long enough for pastry shell to heat through.
