Pickled Onions

Pickled Onions has a different taste. The bay leaves with white vinegar gives the Pickled Onions a unique taste. Must try it
Ingredients
  Small onions 1 Kilogram, skinned (Tiny)
  Salt 3 Tablespoon
  Water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Peppercorns 6
  Cloves 6
  Nutmeg 1 Small, crushed
  Cinnamon piece 1 Inch, broken
  Bay leaves 2
  Dry red chili 1 , broken into pieces
  White vinegar 1 Gallon (1 Bottle)
Directions

Peel and soak onions in salt and water for 24 hours.
Next morning drain onions and pack them in a sterilised jar.
Put all the spices in vinegar and microwave for 6-8 minutes, until the vinegar starts bubbling.
Let it stand for 5 minutes, then strain it onto the onions in the sterilised jar.
Cover only when the ingredients become cool.
Leave for 2 weeks after which they will be ready for consumption.
