Refrigerator Pickles

Refrigerator pickles are brine preserved pickles that I prepare and store in the refrigerator. Made with sliced cucumbers and green peppers along with onions, the refrigerator pickles are delicious, saovry and crisp to taste
Ingredients
  Cucumbers 12 , sliced 1/8 inch thick (Unpeeled)
  Green pepper 1 Cup (16 tbs), sliced
  Onions 2 Cup (32 tbs), thinly sliced
For brine
  Pickling salt 1 Tablespoon
  Celery seed 1 Tablespoon
  White sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Turmeric 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

Mix first 3 ingredients together in a jar.
Brine: Combine ingredients.
Add to vegetable mixture.
Keep in covered jar in refrigerator.
Excellent, tasty, crisp pickles
