Pineapple Relish Ring
|Canned crushed pineapple||20 Ounce (1 Can No. 2 Size)|
|Hot water||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Lemon gelatin||3 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Diced celery||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Diced apple||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), unpared|
|Chopped walnuts/Chopped pecans||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Pickle relish||2 Teaspoon|
Drain pineapple, reserving 1/2 cup juice.
Pour hot water over gelatin; stir until dis solved.
Chill, stirring occa sionally, until consistency of unbeaten egg white.
Fold in pineapple, celery, apple, nuts and relish.
Pour into four or six individual molds; chill until firm.
Unmoldon crisp salad greens; serve with favorite salad dressing.
