Cooked Cranberry Apple Relish

Ingredients
  Cranberries 1 Pound
  Honey 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sweet cider 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Lemon rind 1 , grated
  Tart apples 2 , unpeeled, sliced
  Ground mace 1 Pinch
Directions

Simmer gently cranberries, cider and apples until fruit is soft.
Add honey, rind and mace.
Simmer for 5 minutes.
Cool.
Serve with meat, fowl or fish.
