Old Fashioned Dill Pickles

Ingredients
  Cider vinegar 1 1⁄2 Quart
  Water 4 Quart
  Fresh grape leaves 4
  Pickling cucumbers 6 Pound
  Salt 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Dill weed sprigs 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Use Fresh)
  Peeled garlic 12 Clove (60 gm)
  Bay leaves 3
  Black peppercorns 2 Tablespoon
Directions

MAKING
1. Start by combining water and vinegar
2. In a glass jar, place grape leaves on the bottom, and pack container with cucumbers, also fill vinegar and sufficient water to fill the container
3. In a pan, place the cucumbers and pour the liquid from the jar and boil it, also add salt and keep stirring until dissolved
4. Now add last 4 ingredients to cucumbers and cover with grape leaves
5. Pour brine over cucumbers, making the pickles and leaves covered properly
6. In a have and clean dish, place the cucumbers and keep submerged
7. Set jars aside, covered, for 2 days. Then store it in the refrigerator

SERVING
8. Serve with chicken, fish, rice

TIPS
They are ready for consuming when half-sour, after a day, also reuse brine to pickle Jerusalem artichokes or other vegetables
