Kosher Dill Pickles

Ingredients
  Cucumbers 7 Pound (Medium Size)
  Dill seed 4 Tablespoon
  Instant minced garlic 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Crushed red pepper 3 Teaspoon
  Thick onion slices 6
  Vinegar 1 Quart
  Water 2 Quart
  Salt 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

MAKING
1) Wash and clean cucumbers,
2) Put into 6 hot sterilized quart jars.
3) Add 2 teaspoons dill seed, 1/8 teaspoon instant minced garlic, 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper and 1 slice onion into each jar.
4) Use 1/4 teaspoon instant minced garlic in each jar if you want a strong garlic flavor.
5) In a saucepan mix the remaining ingredients and boil.
6) Pour the mixture boiling hot, over cucumbers, leaving 1/4 -inch headspace.
7) Seal immediately.

SERVING
8) Serve as desired.
