  Sugar 1 Pound
  Vinegar 1⁄2 Pint
  Water 1⁄2 Pint
  Thin lemon slices 1⁄2
  Cinnamon 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Cloves 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Allspice 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Boil rapidly until the rind becomes transparent.
Bottle and seal.
