Jiffy Crisp Sweet Pickles
|Sour pickles||5 Gallon|
1. Drain the pickles well.
2. Thinly slice them.
3. In two 5-gallon stone crocks, layer sugar at the bottom and then 2-3 layers of pickles on top.
4. Repeat layering of sugar and pickles , dividing equally between the two crocks.
5. Cover and set aside in a cool dry area, for 10 days or more, stirring the mixture occasionally.
6. Use pickles as required.
