Quick Hot Sweet Pickles

Ingredients
  Sour pickles 20 Ounce (1 Jar, American Style)
  Sugar 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Garlic cloves 1 Large, sliced
  Birds eye chilies 10 (Hot Variety)
Directions

Slice pickles into round slices.
Layer pickles, sugar, garlic and hot peppers in jar, ending with sugar.
After sugar has dissolved, and pickles are not covered with liquid, more sugar should be added.
Refrigerate.
Let stand several days before using.
These pickles will keep indefinitely.
This recipe is easily doubled.
For 1 gallon of pickles, use about 5 pounds of sugar.
