Cranberry Orange Relish
|Apple||1 Large (Sharp Variety)|
|Raw cranberries||8 Ounce (Fresh Or Frozen, 250 Gram)|
Wash the orange, quarter and remove the pips, but do not peel.
Put the orange into a blender or food processor and blend until roughly chopped; work in two batches if necessary.
Core but do not peel the apple and add to the orange followed by the cranberries.
Continue to blend until finely chopped.
Turn into a bowl and add sugar to taste, but with discretion at this stage.
Cover and store in a cool place for 24 hours, then taste again.
The relish will have softened in texture and sweetened in flavour.
If it is too sweet for you, add a little lemon juice.
