Ingredients
Pickling cucumbers 1 Quart (Small Fresh Variety)
  Iced water 2 Quart
Cider vinegar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Kosher salt 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Garlic 4 Clove (20 gm), peeled and sliced
Pickling spices 1 Teaspoon (Without Red Pepper)
Dill head/3 teaspoons dill seed 3 Large (Fresh Ones)
Directions

Place unscrubbed, firm cucumbers in iced water for 30 minutes.
Scrub off dirt and remove any particles of blossoms.
Meanwhile, sterilize one quart jar and lid.
In a small, stainless steel pan, bring vinegar, salt, water, garlic, and pickling spices, to a boil.
When mixture boils, remove garlic and place cucumbers in sterile jar with dill, packing carefully, so no cucumbers will touch the lid.
Pour vinegar solution over cucumbers to within 1/2 inch of the top of the jar, wipe rim of jar, seal, and process in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
Store jar in a dark place for at least 2 weeks before serving.
