Easy Cucumber Bread And Butter Pickles
|Thinly sliced unpeeled cucumbers||8 Cup (128 tbs)|
|Thinly sliced onions||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Salt||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Cider vinegar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Celery seed||2 Teaspoon|
|Sugar||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Ground turmeric||2 Teaspoon|
|Green peppers||4 , chopped|
Mix cucumbers with onions.
Sprinkle with salt and allow to stand for 1 hour.
Put into a large kettle and add remaining ingredients.
Bring to a boil, lower heat, and simmer for 30 minutes.
Pour mixture into hot sterilized jars.
Seal and cool.
