Artichoke Pickle

Ingredients
  Green and red peppers 1 Dozen
  Large onions 1 Dozen
  Artichokes 1 Gallon (Jerusalem)
  Hot pepper 1
  Salt 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Vinegar 1 Tablespoon
  Cold water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Scrub and wash artichokes.
Chop artichokes, peppers, and onions fine.
Sprinkle over with the 2 cups of salt.
Let stand 12 hours, squeeze.
Cover over with 1/2 part vinegar and 1/2 part cold water.
Let stand 24 hours.
Make a sauce of vinegar (to cover mixtu
