Pepper Relish

Ingredients
  Sweet green peppers 6
  Sweet red peppers To Taste
  Onions 6 Medium
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Vinegar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Dill seed 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Finely grind green peppers, red peppers, and onions.
Drain well.
In a saucepan mix peppers and onions; cover with boiling water and let stand 5 minutes.
Drain.
Add sugar, vinegar, dill seed, 1/2 cup water, and 1 1/2 teaspoons salt.
Boil gently for 5 minutes.
Fill hot clean half-pint canning jars to within 1/2 inch of top; adjust lids.
Process in boiling water bath 5 minutes (start timing when water returns to boiling).
