Confetti Apple Relish

Ingredients
  Chopped green pepper 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Chopped celery 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Chopped onion 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Chopped canned pimiento 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Cider vinegar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Canned applesauce 1 Pound (2 Cups)
  Ground allspice 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Combine pepper, celery and onion in saucepan.
Cover with boiling water and let stand 5 minutes; drain well.
Add remaining ingredients and simmer, stirring occasionally, 30 minutes.
Cool; refrigerate.
