Pickle Style Boiled Beef

Ingredients
  Boneless round steak 1 Kilogram
  Butter/Margarine 15 Milliliter (1 Tablespoon)
  Condensed beef broth 1 Can (10 oz) (284 Milliliters)
  Water 250 Milliliter
  Salt 5 Milliliter (1 Teaspoon)
  Black pepper 1 Milliliter (1/4 Teaspoon)
  Bay leaf 1
  Dried dill 5 Milliliter (1 Teaspoon)
  Cornstarch 15 Milliliter (1 Tablespoon)
  Vinegar 15 Milliliter (1 Tablespoon)
  Sugar 30 Milliliter (2 Tablespoons)
  Chopped parsley 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Cut beef into 8 serving pieces.
Saute in butter; add next 6 ingredients.
Cover.
Simmer 1 1/2 hours or until beef is tender.
Drain broth.
Reserve 250 mL (1 cup).
Mix together cornstarch, vinegar, sugar.
Stir into broth.
Cook, stirring constantly until thick.
