Green Tomato Relish

Ingredients
  Green tomatoes 6 Pound
  Onions 6 Large
  Green peppers 3
  Red peppers 3
  Chopped apple 6
  Vinegar 1 Quart
  Sugar 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Mixed spices 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), tied in a bag
Directions

Put all through the coarse grinder, add 1/4 cup salt and leave 2 hours.
Add a little water and drain.
Boil 1 hour and bottle.
Raisins may be added if liked.
