Fresh Cucumber Pickle

Ingredients
  Cucumbers 4 Large, peeled, sliced wafer thin
  Sugar 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Black pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 2 Tablespoon
  Minced fresh parsley 2 Tablespoon
  Cider vinegar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Directions

Spread cucumber slices over a couple plates, sprinkle with salt and let stand at room temperature 1 hour.
Drain slices on paper towels, pressing with hands.
Combine all other ingredients in pan, heat to boiling then let cool.
Pour cool marinade over cucumber slices in glass dish.
Let stand in room 2 hours or over night in refrigerator, then chill and drain before serving.
