Red Onion Relish

Ingredients
  Red onions 3 Large, sliced
  Lemon 1 , sliced
  Salad oil/Olive oil 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Vinegar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Lemon juice 2 Tablespoon
  Savory 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Layer onion and lemon slices in bowl, ending with lemon.
Combine remaining ingredients; pour over.
Chill 8 hours; spoon dressing over occasionally.
Drain.
Makes 2 cups.
Good with pork, fish, or burgers.
