Red Pepper

Red Pepper is the ground form of fruit from the capsicum variety. The fruits known as chilies or chili peppers, are fiery red or orange pods and their ground product ranges from orangered, to deep, dark red color. Liked for its pungent, hot flavor with a strong bite, red pepper find its culinary purpose in Mexican, Thai, and Indian cuisines. Some of the culinary use of red pepper is in chili, Spanish rice, and barbecue sauce as well as marinading meats, salads, and casseroles.
