Easy Beef Stuffed Peppers

This easy beef and rice stuffed bell peppers recipe is great for a side dish. This stuffed bell peppers be cooked or prepped in a microwave. Filled with a combo of rice with beef, oregano, ketchup and onions, the easy stuffed peppers are go to go with any meal.
  Bell peppers 4 Medium (Green Red Or Yellow)
  Lean ground beef 1 Pound
  Chopped onion 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Cooked rice 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Ketchup 2 Tablespoon
  Oregano leaves 1⁄2 Teaspoon, dried
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Canned italian tomatoes 14 1⁄2 Ounce (Undrained)
  Ketchup 1 Tablespoon

Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
Cut Jaell peppers lengthwise in half; remove seeds.
Place cut side down in microwave safe oblong baking dish.
Microwave, uncovered, at high 4 minutes.
Turn cut side up.In medium bowl, combine filling ingredients, mixing lightly but thoroughly.
Spoon about 1/2 cup beef mixture into each bell pepper half.
In sm.bowl, combine topping ingredients; spoon over bell pepper halves.
Cover dish tightly with foil.
Bake in 350 degrees F oven 40 - 45 minutes or until beef mixture is cooked.
To serve, place peppers on serving platter.
