Green Pepper Stew

Ingredients
  Onion 1
  Shortening 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Tomatoes 2
  Green peppers 8 Large
  Pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Potatoes 4
  Flour 2 Tablespoon
  Mushroom soup 1 Can (10 oz)
  Cheese 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
Directions

Brown onion in shortening in skillet.
Add 2 cups water, peppers, tomatoes, salt and pepper; cook over low heat for 20 minutes.
Add potatoes; cook until potatoes are just tender.
Mix flour with a small amount of water; add flour mixture to vegetables, stirring constantly, until thickened.
