|Green pepper||1 Medium|
|Canned tomatoes||29 Ounce|
|Salt||2 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Cayenne pepper||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Chili powder||2 Tablespoon|
|Canned kidney beans||10 1⁄2 Ounce|
Brown onion, green pepper and elk in shortening.
Add tomatoes, salt, paprika, cayenne pepper, cloves, bay leaf and chili powder.
Simmer for 2 hours, add- ing water as necessary.
Add beans; cook for about 10 minutes longer.
