Braised Okra With Chili

Ingredients
  Ghee/Butter 2 Ounce
  Onion 1 Large, sliced
  Garlic 3 Clove (15 gm), sliced
  Fresh root ginger 2 Inch, peeled and finely chopped
  Fresh green chilies 2 , deseeded and finely chopped
  Chili powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Okra 1 Pound, trimmed (500 Grams)
  Water 7 Fluid Ounce (200 Milliliter)
  Desiccated coconut 2 Teaspoon
  Salt To Taste
Directions

Melt the ghee or butter in a large wok or saucepan.
Add the onion, garlic, ginger, chillies and chilli powder and fry gently, stirring occasionally, for 4-5 minutes until soft.
Add the okra, water and salt to taste.
Bring to the boil, lower the heat, cover and simmer for 5-10 minutes until the okra are just tender but still firm to the bite.
Stir in the coconut and serve hot.
