Casserole In Six Layers
|Sliced raw potatoes||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Sliced celery||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Ground beef||1 Pound|
|Green pepper||1 Large, finely chopped|
|Monosodium glutamate||1 Teaspoon|
|Mixed vegetable juices||12 Ounce (1 can)|
|Green pepper slices||3 (for garnish)|
In a greased 2-quart casserole, arrange layers of potatoes, celery, ground beef, and green pepper, seasoning with salt and monosodium glutamate.
Pour over vegetable juices.
Garnish with green pepper slices.
Cover and bake in a moderate oven (350°) for 1 1/2 to 2 hours; remove cover for the last 30 minutes.
Makes 6 servings.
