Baked Stuffed Green Peppers
|Green peppers||6 Small|
|Ground chuck||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Finely chopped onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Oats||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), uncooked|
|Egg||1 , slightly beaten|
|Spaghetti sauce||1 Cup (16 tbs), divided|
Cut top off each pepper.
Remove seeds and membrane.
Combine ground beef, onion, oats, salt, pepper, egg, and 1/3 cup spaghetti sauce.
Fill peppers with meat mixture.
Place the peppers in a 2 1/2- or 3-quart casserole.
Spread remaining spaghetti sauce over peppers.
Cover with plastic wrap Microwave at HIGH 22 to 25 minutes.
Let stand, covered, 5 minutes before serving.
