Ranch Hand Chili

Ingredients
  Ground beef 3 Pound
  Onion 1 Large, chopped
  Comino seeds 1 Tablespoon
  Garlic salt/Garlic powder 1 Teaspoon
  Chili powder 4 Tablespoon (Gebhardts)
  Worcestershire sauce 4 Tablespoon
  Red pepper pod 1 Large, seeded and cut into small strips
  Canned tomato sauce 16 Ounce (Hunts, 2 Cans, 8 Ounce Each)
  Hot water 1 Quart
  Salt To Taste
Directions

Cook meat, stirring until brown, in a large, heavy Dutch oven or iron skillet with a lid.
Add onion.
Keeping heat as low as possible, add comino seeds, garlic salt, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, pepper pod, tomato sauce, hot water and salt.
Simmer, covered, over very low heat for at least 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
This is a mild and flavorful chili, recommended for the faint-hearted.
