Braised Okra With Chilies has a lovely taste. Braised Okra With Chilies gets its taste from Okra mixed with chili powder and coconut. Braised Okra With Chilies is cherished by food lovers.
Ingredients
  Ghee 50 Gram
  Onion 1 Large, sliced
  Garlic 3 Clove (15 gm), sliced
  Ginger root piece 2 Inch, peeled and finely chopped (Or 5 Centimeters)
  Green chilies 2 , seeded and finely chopped or minced
  Chili powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Okra 450 Gram, topped and tailed
  Water 200 Milliliter
  Salt To Taste
  Desiccated coconut 2 Teaspoon
Directions

Melt the ghee in a large saucepan, add the onion, garlic, ginger, chillies and chilli powder and fry gently for 4-5 minutes until soft, stirring occasionally.
Add the okra, water and salt to taste.
Bring to the boil, then lower the heat, cover and simmer for 5-10 minutes until the okra are just tender, but still firm to the bite.
Stir in the coconut and serve hot.
