Green Pepper Beef

  Top round steak 2 Pound
  Yellow onion 2 Tablespoon, finely chopped
  Green pepper 3 Tablespoon
  Soy sauce 1 Tablespoon (Chinese)
  Heavy cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Plain yogurt 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Butter 3 Tablespoon (For Frying)

1. Chop the green pepper coarsely and mix with the onion. Pat in the mixture on both sides of the beef.
2. Heat a frying pan; add the butter and let it turn brown. Put in the beef and fry on high heat for 2-4 minutes on each side, depending on thickness and how well done the beef is desired. A good rule is to turn the beef slice when meat juice appears on the top side. When meat juice starts showing on the fried side the beef is ready and rosy inside.
3. Place the beef on a hot serving dish and salt lightly. Pour the soy and the cream in the frying pan and reduce by boiling for a few minutes until the sauce starts thickening. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the yogurt. Season with salt and a few drops of fresh lemon juice.
