Beef Stuffed Green Peppers
|Green peppers||3 Large|
|Ground chuck||1⁄2 Pound|
|Canned tomato sauce||8 Ounce|
|Bread crumbs||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped onion||1 Tablespoon|
Cut thin slices from stem ends of peppers, remove seeds, and wash peppers.
Cook peppers in boiling salted water for 5 minutes; drain.
Combine other ingredients, and stuff peppers lightly with this mixture.
Place upright in a small baking dish.
Cover and bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
Uncover and bake an additional 15 minutes.
