|Ground beef/Well trimmed stewing beef||4 Pound, cut into bite sized pieces (2 Kilogram)|
|Onion||1 Large, chopped|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), finely chopped|
|Oregano||1 Teaspoon (5 Milliliter)|
|Cumin||2 Teaspoon (10 Milliliter)|
|Chili powder||30 Milliliter (2 Tablespoon)|
|Canned tomatoes||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) (375 Milliliter)|
|Tabasco sauce||6 Dash|
|Water||500 Milliliter (2 Cup)|
Place meat, onion and garlic in large heavy bottomed pot and cook over medium heat until meat is brown.
Add remaining ingredients; bring to boil.
Lower heat and simmer about 1 hour or until meat is tender.
Skim off any fat.
