Pecan Rounds

Ingredients
  Unsweetened chocolate 2 Ounce
  Butter/Margarine 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Room Temperature)
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
  Flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Baking powder 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Baking soda 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Finely chopped pecans 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Cinnamon 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pecan halves 4 (For Garnish)
Directions

Melt chocolate; set aside to cool.
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, cream butter or margarine and 3/4 cup sugar.
Stir in vanilla and melted chocolate.
Combine flour, baking powder and baking soda.
Stir into chocolate mixture.
Add chopped pecans.
Form into 1-inch balls.
If dough is too soft to handle, refrigerate for a few minutes.
Mix 1/4 cup sugar and the cinnamon.
Roll balls in mixture.
Press a pecan half onto top of each ball.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheets 12 to 15 minutes or until firm.
