Spicy Sugared Pecans

Ingredients
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Pumpkin pie spice 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Pecan halves/Walnut halves 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Directions

In skillet combine sugar, water, and pumpkin pie spice. (Electric skillet 250°.)
Bring mixture to a full rolling boil; boil till sugar crystals form on sides of skillet, 5 to 6 minutes (3 minutes with electric skillet).
Add pecan or walnut halves; stir till nuts are sugar-coated.
Turn out onto waxed paper or foil.
Quickly separate nuts, using two forks.
Cool.
