Pear, Celery, And Pecan Salad
|Mayonnaise/Plain yogurt||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Vegetable oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Lemon juice||1 Teaspoon|
|Black pepper||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Celery stalks||3 , diced|
|Lettuce leaves||4 (For Garnish)|
|Pecan halves||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
1. In a serving bowl, combine the mayonnaise, oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Add the diced celery.
2. Stem and peel the pears, quarter them lengthwise, and cut out the cores. Dice each quarter into 1-inch pieces. Add the pears to the bowl and toss. Mound on the lettuce leaves and top with the pecans. The salad tastes best slightly chilled.
