Honeyed Baked Pears
|Pear halves||12 (with skins)|
|Ginger||1 Teaspoon, ground|
|Lemon juice||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Honey||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Arrange pears in shallow, oiled casserole.
Stick one clove into each piece of fruit.
Blend lemon juice, honey, ginger and oil together.
Pour over fruit.
Bake at 350Â° F. for about 15 minutes.
Fill each hollow with a tablespoon of cottage or soy cheese.
Serve hot or cold.
